My first construction project was to design and virtually build a deck with seating and a brick wall as a piece of combined public infrastructure. This was my very first exposure to designing with a high degree of accuracy in measurement. Every element was referenced to a real life component (bricks, joists, footing). The design process focused on pragmatic constructability and physical integrity.

The resulting proposal makes use of different yet rational geometries to strike a balance between simplicity and interactivity.
